Spanning a total area of 13,000 square metres, City Walk is reminiscent of European-style streets. Take a stroll down the walk lined with designer stores and restaurants while appreciating the striking vista of city skyscrapers, including the Burj Khalifa. Water features, play areas for children and plenty of al fresco seating add to the appeal.

Scientechnic offered unique architectural lighting solutions for City Walk based on a dynamic outdoor concept. The Lighting Solutions division met the designers and client to create the perfect ambience for City Walk, while ensuring that the definition of the building was accentuated. Energy efficient LED lights with

colour changing capabilities were used for the Hudson Rings to add sparkle and brilliance to the place. The concept of concentric rings presents a sophisticated and unrivalled shopping and dining experience for this project developed by Meraas.

The complete lighting project scope included supply, testing, commissioning and positioning of light fixtures with exclusive high end products took several months to bring the lighting design to life as a lot of testing and commissioning was involved to ensure that the right Lux levels were rendered to perfection.
