GASCO is a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and is engaged in the extraction of natural gas liquids from associated and non-associated gas.

The Sheet Metal Manufacturing division has supplied Scientechnic double wall aluminium enclosures to GASCO. Double wall aluminium enclosures are an ideal solution for optimum heat management, ensuring protection of controlgear, switchgear and other electrical equipment mounted inside the enclosure.

As the name indicates, an inner enclosure wall made of aluminium sheet is sandwiched by an external aluminium wall constructed with a gap of 25mm between the two walls. The body, door and canopy are in double wall construction to reduce the inside temperature of the enclosure due to the air flow circulating between the two layers. The doors are fitted to the enclosure body with special hinges providing 180º door opening. The body is fitted with a high quality gasket to protect it against environmental temperature, humidity, dust and water.
