The 7th edition of the region’s leading conference on Lighting Design took place at the Sofitel Dubai, The Palm Resort and Spa on 2nd and 3rd of May, 2018.
The two-day conference saw a mixture of lighting experts, designers, architects and urban planners from across the GCC. The programme focused on the current trends, technologies and practices that are currently shaping the lighting design industry. A number of speakers took the stage covering a wide array of topics followed by interactive panel discussions. Paolo Toppan spoke on public and smart street lighting in urban areas on behalf of Nikkon.
As one of the gold sponsors of the event, Scientechnic and Nikkon showcased their intelligent light control systems (iLCS) through a stall that elaborated on this new revolutionary platform that merges intelligent modular city lighting with state-of-the-art mesh networking to create a smart, city-wide digital infrastructure.
