Facade and internal lighting
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is an amusement park located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Scientechnic was awarded the Ferrari World project by Aldar for the supply of architectural lighting, special light fittings and supervision of installation. Some of the light fixtures required custom modifications to suit the site requirements. This was done by innovating and designing locally at the planning stage. The project took a year to complete and involved preparing shop drawings detailing each aspect of the lights like photo-metrics, aesthetics and finish before moving on to the final installation and supervision process.
A mock-up was done with the samples installed in a separate area to showcase the real performance and quality of its fixtures. ERCO and Louis Poulsen were the two international brands of light fixtures used in this project. ERCO focuses on innovation, service and quality in sync with today’s contemporary environment of building architecture. Louis Poulsen develop, produce and sell high-quality lighting products in functional design for buildings and built-up areas.
